Ross' Story

Last year my 10 year old son, Ross (5278), was flunking the 3rd grade. He was upset every day and hated school. After consulting with Kathy Kolbe one-on-one, and taking the Perfectly Capable Kids course, I gave him strategies to help him in the classroom. I worked with Ross to help him understand the strengths he did have (speaking and building), and not to focus on the things that were not working (writing and sequential math problems).

Ross is now thriving in the 4th grade! He is getting all A's and B's, while many of his classmates still struggle. I have to pinch myself every time I get a report telling me how great a student Ross is.

The most important thing is that Ross is one happy, happy, boy. He goes to school with a smile on his face, enjoys physical play every day until dinner, then does his homework without prompting. I am happy to say he scored in the top levels of his standardized tests. He knows his strengths and is proud of himself everyday.
