When Andrew Meadows (7-6-4-3), joined Ubiquity in 2004, the company was a small retirement savings firm pioneering the use of technology to reach
underserved small businesses. Over the past 15 years, the company has grown substantially and we’ve been fortunate to be a small part of their incredible success story.
Based in San Francisco, Ubiquity Retirement + Savings, is a leading fintech company on a mission. Founder and CEO Chad Parks (4-4-8-3) stated, “since its inception 20 years ago, Ubiquity’s sole purpose has been to solve the looming retirement crisis for the millions of employees of small and micro business across the U.S., who lack access to basic workplace retirement savings plans.” Andrew Meadows became Kolbe Certified™ in 2017 after he was promoted to Senior Vice President, with responsibilities including HR.
Since then, he has integrated the Kolbe A™ Index into the on-boarding process for new hires and has effectively used conative theory to complement
the agile workforce concept popularized in the Bay Area. Employees are often aligned with the department or functions that best match their unique
strengths, as evident by Meadows’ own department responsibilities for Human Resources, Brand, and Culture.
Recently, the company was honored by Entrepreneur magazine as having one of the top company cultures in America, ranking 27th among all medium-size companies. “It’s because of our team’s commitment to the mission and our ability to appreciate and understand every employee’s strengths that we have maintained a strong and enduring culture,” says Meadows.
In March, the company closed a Series D funding round, furthering the commitment of dedicated investors who have been with the company since day one. We are proud to work with Ubiquity and look forward to their continued growth with Kolbe. As their team, partners and client list expands, we will be eager to support their ongoing success.
