We help people understand their own and each other’s instinctive strengths and use that understanding to improve their lives in the way they care about most.

Kolbe Corp mission statement

Kolbe Corp was created with a mission to help people develop and use their potential to its fullest.  We have always believed in, and actively worked toward providing opportunities for traditionally underrepresented parts of our society.  We have thrived with women, people of color and the LGBTQ community as members of our team at all levels in the company. Those efforts will continue to grow and evolve.

We seek to find and attract a diverse group of talented people to join our team.  We do not set out to achieve a particular demographic mix; we set out to find and attract the best people, with a recognition that work often needs to be done to actively seek out the best candidates from underrepresented groups.  We work to have a culture that creates opportunity, provides career development, and has respect and appreciation for everyone, regardless of their race, ethnicity or gender.  Those who are unwilling to be challenged, to improve, and to value and respect everyone do not have a place on our team.

We do not claim we do everything right.  We listen to suggestions and constructive criticism, changing and growing in a constant effort to improve.  Our policies aren’t there so we can check a box or impress job-seekers and clients.  They are there because we believe in the promise of equality and justice for all.

We know that there is work to be done.  Through our work we seek to advance the idea that all people should be empowered to use their strengths to make a difference. We have too often seen that some people are not allowed the same opportunities to thrive as others.  We know that black lives matter and we will continue to strive to be a place where black lives and careers can flourish.  We will continue to listen to, learn from, and inform our team and the larger community on issues surrounding equality and opportunity.
