David Kolbe, CEO of Kolbe Corp
Ross Slater was introduced to Kolbe by colleagues at Strategic Coach, where he worked as a coach and management consultant for entrepreneurs. He became a Kolbe Certified™ Consultant in 1996, one of the first 25 people to achieve that distinction.

Wayne Smith encountered Kolbe in 2004 through Slater, his future husband. Smith had spent decades in executive roles in the financial and retail sectors. When he and Slater met they used Kolbe to build their lives and a new business together. The company they founded, Reach Capabilities Inc., has cultivated capabilities in hundreds of organizations, ranging from three to 90,000 employees.
