There’s a really exciting phenomenon about Kolbe Strengths Week that has everyone involved feeling really lucky seven years in. It gets bigger and better every year.
The annual event was created in 2020 as part of the Kolbe mission to help all people understand theirs and other people’s instinctive strengths and use them in the ways they care about most.

Ever since the inaugural Strengths Week, a variety of groups and individuals in the Kolbe community (Kolbe Certified™ Consultants, Kolbe Corp staff, people who were move by their Kolbe A™ results, etc.) have come together to offer their time and energy to help others learn the powers they possess inside. It happens every May now, and it keeps growing in size and scale.

Before the big week every year, Kolbe Corp offers anyone interested the opportunity to pitch a project or idea for helping others learn about their strengths. The only catch is it should be to help people and organizations who may not have otherwise had access or opportunity to enjoy all the resources Kolbe can provide.
Strengths Week is about helping nonprofits, schools, churches, and those in need find new pathways to understanding how they operate when free to be themselves. And every year, the majority of pitches are accepted. This means that Kolbe Corp donates hundreds of Kolbe A’s, B’s, C’s, and Y’s as well as free seminars and speeches led by Kolbe experts every May.
This year was another big step, as Strengths Week projects impacted individuals and organizations far and wide.
“Thank you to Kolbe Corp for another successful Kolbe Strengths Week,” said Kolbe Certified Consultant Warren Barry. “And your support in helping us work with Street Culture Project here in Regina…Armed with understanding their own conative strengths allows the team to fly in a V formation and take the organization to new heights. Remarkable leadership!”

Angela Myers, also a Kolbe Certified Consultant, said, “It was an absolute pleasure working with the Year 13 students at NZPAA (New Zealand Performance Academy Aotearoa), a forward-thinking college dedicated to excellence in both education and sport. Every athlete benefits from a clear, meaningful pathway beyond sport. By completing the Kolbe A™ Index, students gain valuable insight into their instinctive strengths—those they are naturally born with, independent of sporting ability.”

Another Kolbe Certified, Consultant, Andrea Almaraz, said, “I celebrated Strengths Week by spending time with the inspiring team at Beyond Boundaries RVA. They partner with nonprofit and community partners to facilitate outdoor adventures for people with disabilities, underserved youth, veterans, and people in substance recovery. What a great way to end the week. This team’s unique Kolbe strengths shine bright and position them powerfully in how they work together to advance their mission of access, community and empowerment.”
