About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our high-performing inside sales team to the next level. It is essential this person is invested in our mission to empower lives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a process improvement expert, and a revenue maximizer. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of solution sales, and a track record of successfully scaling businesses and implementing sales systems. This person will primarily work in our office in Phoenix. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the inside sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. 
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales efforts with company objectives and improve operational efficiency. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships, including managing strategic accounts. 
  • Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team. 
  • Analyze performance metrics and market trends to identify areas for improvement and drive informed decision-making. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. 
  • Hands-on leader who knows how to inspire a team and also lead by example as a successful salesperson. 
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with at least 5 years of experience in a solutions sales environment. 
  • Experience in scaling a business and driving revenue growth in a competitive market. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions. 
  • Experienced with service-based sales, with bonus points if connected to HR or consulting (and triple bonus points for assessment industry sales experience). 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer value. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
