What is Amy Bruske’s Kolbe MO and Expertise?

  • Kolbe MO: 3-5-8-3
    • Fact Finder (3): Simplifies; cuts to the bottom line, clarifying options and accelerating decisions without excess detail.
    • Follow Thru (5): Maintains; keeps efforts on track, adjusting procedures and bridging between structure and flexibility.
    • Quick Start (8): Innovates; initiates change, drives toward deadlines, and moves quickly amid uncertainty and market pivots.
    • Implementor (3): Envisions; works comfortably with abstract concepts, without the need for physical models or tangible renderings.

Amy Bruske has had a lifelong obsession with human behavior, and she’s on a quest to help driven people find the freedom to be themselves. As President and an owner of Kolbe Corp, she spends her days advising Fortune 500 companies, top government agencies, and rapidly growing small businesses about how to do more, more naturally. Her innovative training programs empower a global cohort of high-impact consultants and hundreds of teams each year to harness the power of instinctive strengths, and her provocative speeches and interactive workshops — including a featured appearance at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business Summit — have propelled Kolbe Corp’s global impact.

Amy’s client list illustrates her breadth of experience: she advises high-level government agencies and leading healthcare organizations, consults for top companies in industries from food to electronics to insurance, and leads projects for Fortune 500 businesses and community non-profits alike. Earlier in her career, Amy learned about human behavior by assisting major advertising clients with focus groups, then became a senior leader at Jenny Craig Inc., where she led the East Coast Divisional Sales Training team and coached franchise owners. Born in Argentina, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University and has adopted Arizona as her home state.

Alongside founder Kathy Kolbe, Amy co-authored Business is Business: Reality Checks for Family-Owned Companies, the groundbreaking family business guide, and with CEO David Kolbe she co-authored Do More, More Naturally, a practical framework built on Clarity, Commitment, and Collaboration. She serves as Chairman of the Board for the Center for Conative Abilities, sits on the board of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and was named Small Business Owner of the Year by NAWBO — with recent honors including the AZ Big 100 and Phoenix Business Journal’s 25 “Outstanding Women in Business” for 2026. Amy is also a co-host of the Powered by Instinct podcast.

Watch Amy Bruske share how leaders can put instinctive strengths to work — on their teams and in their family businesses.
